Providing young children with the opportunity to dance, perform, and compete, while also working with our partners to combat pediatric brain cancer.
Our Vision - Support the dreams of young children who want to express themselves artistically and athletically
Dance and gymnastics provided Wynter an outlet that allowed her to express herself artistically, showcase her athletic talents, and let her outgoing vibrant personality shine through. All children should be able to reap the benefits of dancing and competing like Wynter did. The WynterDiva Foundation has been established to provide scholarships to kids who otherwise may not have the financial resources to either begin or continue pursuing their dance and gymnastics careers. Additionally, the Foundation will assist families facing the challenges of cancer by providing funds for those seeking alternative wellness treatments to ease the pain.
Wynter’s Story
Hailing from Jersey City, NJ, Wynter was a bright light who loved to dance and compete in gymnastics at an early age. Wynter spent many hours perfecting her craft at dance studios such as Broadway Dance Center and Brickhouse Studios in NYC. Additionally, she was part of U.S.A Gymnastics and a level 6 gymnastics while being a part of the Chelsea Piers Gymnastics Team. Wynter built long-lasting relationships with her teammates and coaches. Wynter was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma in May of 2021 yet she continued to perform, compete and pursue her dreams. Although Wynter is no longer here physically her infectious smile, bubbly spirit, and love of the arts and athletics left an indelible mark with her friends, family, and fans.
High-Grade Pediatric Brain Tumors - The Battle Continues
The WynterDiva Foundation is partnering with the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation in order to research ways to better treat, cure and one day prevent high-grade pediatric brain tumors. A portion of funds received by the Wynter Diva Foundation will go towards this endeavor. The Foundation will also donate funds to the Make A Wish Foundation.
Participant Studios
Dance students at Broadway Dance Center and Brickhouse NYC studios may be eligible to receive a scholarship to assist in attending classes that are taught by premier choreographers in the NYC area.
“We saw first-hand how dance and gymnastics enriched Wynter’s life. We want all children to reap the benefits of the arts and athletics.”
— Jason Mack, WynterDiva Foundation Co-Founder
“Pediatric brain cancer is so devastating to the child and the respective family. The limited treatment options can severely impact overall quality of life and can have life-changing impacts for cancer survivors. There is a high sense of urgency to make available better cancer treatment options for children than the ineffective options that have not changed in 30+ years.”
- Tahira Wright, WynterDiva Foundation Co-Founder
